This pfd has a fabric coating that is superior to anything else I’ve worn. I typically find the nylon material of pfd’s to be uncomfortable, clammy, and sticky but the proteus feels more like a moisture wicking shirt. The high back is nice when paddling. It’s not too heavy or stuffy and is very adjustable and easy to get on and off.
