"If you are lucky enough to find a way of life you love, you have to find the courage to live it...."

Emily Jackson is a decorated whitewater athlete and currently the Women’s World Freestyle Champion. She has multiple World Freestyle Kayak Championships, handfuls of freestyle kayak medals, slalom titles, and extreme kayak racing podium finishes. She’s a TedTalker, a wife, a sister, a daughter and a mother. Emily Jackson is a champion athlete and a champion human. She knows what it means to live life #uncompromised.

“I have found it to be constant comparisons. When we become fixated on comparing ourselves to those around us, we lose track of what’s truly important to us.”

Emily loves the freedom kayaking gives you, whether it’s taking you to a new place, introducing you to new people or simply taking away all other thoughts from the day, it always gives her the peace she craves.

Together with her husband - professional kayaker Nick Troutman, and son Tucker, she’s stayed mobile; traveling the world to paddle and compete while managing a team of athletes for her family’s company Jackson Kayak. Her goals are to inspire people to follow their passions while focusing on her own.
